Sad (for me): My wife and baby are going to Taiwan for a month, which means I will be a lonely, lonely boy. Hopefully I will find plenty to do in my lab. Has anyone seen GATTACA? That is similar to the type of stuff we're trying to be able to do in this lab. We're not at the point of instantly identifying a person's DNA and potential ailments, but we can get an insane amount of data about the entire genome of ~100 people over the course of a day or two. Yaping gave her first primary lesson in english today (she now teaches sunbeams). I slept next to Preston last night and the first thing he said to me in the morning was "Daddy go ::SNORE!!::." I think that's about all that's happening at the moment.

It's kind of sad that Preston is starting to speak actual languages.
"Popco oiehfjdfhgo popco vnoaheoh popco .edf popco c popco dlbndof nwo popco!" That was one of the funniest things I've ever heard! (When he was singing "Popcorn Popping on the Apricot Tree")
